Patapsco, Gunpowder, PrettyBoy and Loch Raven have been lifelong favorite spots for hiking...then, on 12/17/2007, I walked in on the Patapsco clear-cutting as the loggers were nearing completion. I was devastated by the sight.
Forests around the world are being destroyed or at risk of destruction; I cannot stand by and watch while the destruction takes place close to home.
