Cromwell Valley Community Carefully Monitors BGE Actions

Greetings to All,

I am writing to give an up-date about BGE's resumption of "Transmission Maintenance" to take place along Cromwell Bridge Rd.

Well Summer has really flown by and BGE is anxious to get busy again. This is the most current information that they have sent:

The agreed upon signs have been prepared and will be installed near four intersections along CBR ( 2 facing East and 2 facing West) and one in front of the entrance to Cromwell Valley Park (Sherwood). We expect these to be in place by early next week and that approved tree removal work will resume shortly after. The amount of trees to be removed between Cub Hill and Satyr Hill Rds. will be minimal. Cromwell Woods Comm. Assn. will determine the number of hazard trees to be removed from the strip of land they own in front of Sander's restaurant. BGE will give advance notification to any property owners impacted by their actions in this area.

In the near future, BGE will also be pruning trees near DISTRIBUTION Lines along CBR between Cowpens Ave. and I-695 ONLY.

I will write again when more details about start dates and planting schedules become available.

Take care,

Andrea Soukup
CBCA
